Small SAP Talk. How to get a list of ABAP dumps in SAP ADT
While working in ADT, you might find yourself wondering, "Wouldn’t it be great to see all the dumps in the system I'm logged into?" But after a few deep inhales, you start feeling a bit frustrated—because it’s not exactly obvious at first glance.
See About the ABAP Development Tools: User Guide
Task
Find the list of ABAP dumps while working in SAP ADT.
Solution
Navigate to Window → Show View → Other.
See Getting Feeds
Search for Feed. You’ll find it under the ABAP folder.
And here you go — the dump list view!
By default, the view displays dumps generated by the user currently logged in.
To modify the query, click on the "Runtime Errors caused by me" header and adjust the selection parameters to your liking.
It may take a few moments to generate the list… and voilà!
P.S. This dump list was generously provided by a Trial SAP BTP instance — a playground where you can explore the modern side of SAP, far beyond the cozy world of classic ALV reports.
